Description

APG FC6 is a nonionic surfactant known as Alkyl Polyglycoside (APG) with a C6 carbon chain. It is characterized by no foam and has obvious defoaming effect on the formula system. It has excellent water solubility, resistance to strong alkali, strong electrolyte, and can dissolve some other compounds that are not easily soluble in water. Suitable for mechanical cleaning, especially in the field of food production. It can be used as a solubilizer in systems requiring low bubbles.

FIRST AID MEASURES

•  Eye Contact: Immediately flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes while holding eyelids open. If irritation persists get medical attention.
•   Skin Contact: In case of contact, immediately remove contaminated clothing, and wash with plenty of water. Get medical attention if irritation persists. Clean contaminated clothing and shoes before reuse. 
• Inhalation: Inhalation is not an expected route of exposure. If respiratory irritation or distress occurs remove victim to fresh air. Seek medical attention if respiratory irritation or distress continues. 
•  Ingestion: Oral toxicity is low. If ingesting, get medical attention. 
•  Comments: Treat according to person’s condition and specifics of exposure. Skin contact may aggravate existing skin disease.
•  Note to Physicians: Treat symptomatically

FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES

•  Extinguishing Media: Recommended (small fires): dry chemical, carbon dioxide, Recommended (large fire): alcohol foam, universal foam, water spray, Not recommended: water jet (frothing possible). 
•  Fire & Explosion Hazards: Product will burn under fire conditions. Closed containers may explode (due to the build-up of pressure) when exposed to extreme heat.
•   Special Fire-fighting Protective Equipments: Firefighters should wear NIOSH/MSHA approved self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing.

ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
